PIANC cares about the environment!<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\nAt PIANC 2028, we recognise the importance of sustainability. That\u2019s why we are committed to making our congress in Antwerp as eco-friendly as possible. Through mindful planning and small but impactful changes, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint while providing a great experience for our delegates.<\/p>\n
PIANC 2028 will be \u201cgreen\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>meaning we will focus on sustainability, environmental action, and minimizing ecological impact by implementing practices like digital materials, sustainable transport, waste reduction (reusable bottles), and supporting local green businesses.<\/p>\nFrom planning to execution, we are committed to\u00a0integrating sustainability into all aspects of congress\u00a0<\/b>management.<\/p>\n

<\/b>We are reducing printed materials and embracing digital solutions to minimise paper waste. For example, the Final Programme will not be printed but can be downloaded on the conference website or found in our easy-to-use Conference Application.<\/p>\nLocal Catering<\/span>
<\/b>Our catering choices will prioritise sustainable and locally sourced ingredients, with a focus on reducing food waste. Next to that, the catering provider makes use of sustainable serving materials.<\/p>\nSupporting the Local Community<\/span>
